“Little people are mean, evil, vicious ankle-biters. You’re Gremlina!" And with those words from director Matt Cimber (Jayne Mansfield's last husband) after having been flipped off and an expletive hurled his way for insulting her friend and audition mate, Sandy Manely joined the Season 3 of the hit 80s show G.L.O.W. The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Week after week Gremlina led her Daisy to the ring to battle the likes of The Cheerleaders, The Farmer's Daughters and an encounter with Mountain Fiji that ended in a spanking that Gremmy claims still stings to this day. After G.L.O.W. ended, Manley took a hiatus from the ring for a number of years to pursue a career as an accountant before returning to Virginia based Vanguard Championship Wrestling acting as both Manager and Commissioner. Other screen credits include Paranormal After Party and Femme d'Action.

RVA LUG, the Richmond LEGO® Users Group, is a group of AFOLs (adult fans of Lego) in the Richmond, Virginia area. Formerly known as RichLUG and originally founded in 2001, we we continue to grow, adding more new members each year. We look forward to RVA LUG's future.
We meet about once a month to talk about what projects we're working on, official LUG business, and anything about Lego in general. We are focused on the hobby as a personal pursuit, as well as promoting to the public. We have showcased our creations at libraries, Lego Conventions, and have plans for much more.
You can also see some of our work online, which has been blogged and published on various other websites. Our members have written for one of the biggest Lego blogs on the web, volunteered for FIRST LEGO League, and more.
We find Lego fascinating. It's a fantastic art medium, which knows no age, time, language, or cultural limits. It encourages creativity: artistically and problem solving. It's quite amazing, really. There's a reason it's so popular all over the world."

Victims and Villains is a non-profit organization that creates content through podcasts and film reviews to educate and engage individuals on mental health awareness and suicide prevention through pop culture. All of their content is made with the intent to connect individuals to the right mental health resources, break stigma surrounding mental health and remind you of your value as a human being.
I met them a few years back when I volunteered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and they had a booth set up. I think it's great that GWE aren't the only ones out there promoting mental health in the geek community...and I am a firm believer that we're all stronger when we work together...so they'll be doing a panel, and they'll have a table so you can stop by and chat with them anytime.
